I use similar build, although with "you move like a dwarf" instead of a glyph and it works great (completed all dungeons and areas in HM with h/h), but I'm still stuck with my old staff, can someone tell me what would be the best staff or wand/offhand for this build? Thanks in advance

Dual 20/20. You've got awful cast times and awful recharges should AP miss.

With GoLE+AP, you dont need Earth Attunement which is strippable anyway.
For my ele, I replace it with YMLAD. Good unstrippable energy management and utility with the power of 3 strong PvE skills instead of only 2.

Don't miss.
I would say Spear + Shield/Focus with a focus having a Master of My Domain inscription. But with the two Earth spells you'd really want Mindbender.
A 40/40 set is a bit erratic when only two spells really benefit from the reduced cast time. The reduced recharge is only useful when AP misses.
Ah bugger. I was looking at the year old OP build. Which build is being discussed here?

I just went and did a couple VQ's on my Ele running this and after playing with the builds i've found that Its best to drop EVAS for Ebon Vanguard Battle Stabdard of Honor. I like the use of mindbender if not using Candy/Cons but I usually pop an essence and a cupcake anyway so it's fine.

I don't like it. It looks great on paper, but it feels clumsy in practice. Blame my own mistakes, sure - but the build feels kludgy whenever something goes wrong (bad placement, stuff moves out too quickly, AP is stripped, another mob comes in at the wrong time). I still stick with air on my ele for the rare occasions I don't heal.

What seems to be lacking here is any form of snare. Everyboy's going for / damage / spell interrupt stuff.

This has both a snare and a decent damage. Ok the enchant are strippable ,but wth; if you know there's a Mes or Nec close who's gonna try this, hang back a bit or send a hero a few steps ahead,; Problem solved innit?

Fire in Hard Mode PvE does for terribad damage, it's pretty much a waste. Also Firestorm has no boosts/doesn't cause conditions or anything iso it's pretty much useless. Although in Normal Mode it would be fine. :/
